Surimi as part of your diet. Surimi is a good source of protein, vitamin B12 and omega 3. These are all necessary for a properly functioning body and to stay in good health. Surimi also contains minimal sugar and saturated fats.

  • Rich in protein (over 20% of calories are from protein). Protein is essential for our cell activity, and stimulates our immune system.
  • Rich in essential fatty acids: omega 3 (3 sticks represent 15% of the recommended dietary allowance). These acids are good for brain and vision development.
  • Source of vitamin B12 (over 15% of the recommended daily intake (RDI)), which is necessary for the brain, nervous system and blood production.
  • Source of micronutrients and minerals: selenium (over 15% of the RDI) and phosphorus (about 8% of the RDI). Not naturally produced by the human body, they are still necessary, and must be ingested regularly to avoid nutritional deficiency.
